GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS of Lifework s.r.o.

1. IDENTIFICATION DETAILS OF THE OPERATOR
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relationships between:

Customer refers to a natural or legal person who enters into a contractual relationship with the seller through the e-shop www.lifework.sk or www.lifeworkacademy.online.

These terms apply to consumers as defined in § 2 letter a) of Act No. 250/2007 Coll. If the customer is a business entity, some provisions relating to consumer protection may not apply.

2. DEFINITION OF TERMS

  • Digital content: videos, PDFs, webinars, member section, and other online materials
  • Service: consultations, mentoring, webinars, and other educational activities
  • Access code: unique code for employees of corporate customers
  • Third parties: providers of payment, technical, and communication services

3. ORDER AND CONTRACT CONCLUSION
The order is placed through the e-shop and is confirmed by payment. The contract between the seller and the customer is concluded at the moment the seller receives confirmation of payment. We recommend that the customer keep a copy of the order confirmation for potential complaints or disputes.

4. DELIVERY OF DIGITAL CONTENT AND SERVICES
Digital content is available for 3 months. Consultations are provided at the agreed time, no later than 5 working days from payment, unless otherwise agreed. Corporate access is tied to a period of 3 months from the activation of the code.

5. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS
All prices are quoted including VAT. Payment is processed through GoPay. Corporate customers may be offered an individual price quote.

6. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
The customer agrees to receive information and documents electronically. This also applies to the conclusion of the contract.

7. SECURITY AND ACCESS RESTRICTIONS
Sharing of access is prohibited. Violation leads to account blocking without the right to compensation.

8. COPYRIGHT
The content is the intellectual property of the seller. It cannot be copied or distributed without written consent.

9. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion without giving a reason. This right expires if the customer expressly agrees to the start of providing digital content before the expiry of the period.

The withdrawal form is attached to the GTC.

In case of withdrawal, the full payment will be refunded in the same manner within 14 days of receiving the notification.

10. COMPLAINTS AND LIABILITY FOR DEFECTS
A complaint can be submitted through the Complaint form, which is attached to the GTC, or by email to info@lifework.sk. It is handled within 30 days.

The customer is obliged to provide their identification details, order number, and description of the problem. In case of a justified complaint, the customer has the right to:

  • free remedy
  • reasonable discount
  • withdrawal from the contract

11. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Protection is governed by the document “Personal Data Protection Principles”, available at www.lifework.sk/gdpr. Personal data is processed for the purposes of contract fulfillment and marketing (e.g., newsletter).

12. USE OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The customer acknowledges the use of these services:

  • GoPay (payment gateway)
  • Mailchimp (newsletter)
  • Zoom, Vimeo (video and webinars)
  • Tutor LMS (educational platform)
  • Websupport (hosting)

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The customer can contact the Slovak Trade Inspection (www.soi.sk), use the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or file a lawsuit. The operator reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the provision of the service due to technical or organizational obstacles. In such a case, the customer has the right to a new date or refund.

14. FINAL PROVISIONS
These GTC come into effect on the day of publication. The seller reserves the right to make changes. The buyer is advised to familiarize themselves with them before each order.
